About Torchlite

We host free servers for Minecraft and other multiplayer games on two Intel Xeon Gold 6134 CPUs with ECC memory and enterprise HDD storage, behind zero.ms DDoS filtering. Every server gets a full control panel with a live console, SFTP, resource graphs and one-click modpacks.

We cap how many servers each machine takes, so a free server does not mean a slow one.

TorchByte, our paid hosting brand, provides the hardware and the network. The ads on this website and in the panel cover the rest. There is no card, no trial and nothing to cancel, and no ads are ever placed inside your game server itself.

Our guides are written by the people who run the panel and the nodes. Every step is checked against our own servers before a guide goes up, each guide shows the date it was last updated, and we update it when the panel or the game changes.

If something in a guide is wrong or out of date, tell us on Discord and we will fix it.

On this website, ads appear next to our own content, such as guides, and never on the sign-up and login pages. The control panel shows ads too, and starting or renewing a free server asks you to watch a short series of them: that is what keeps the servers free. No ads are ever placed inside your game server itself, so your players never see them.
